I MISS HOLDING YOU - STRAWBERRY SMELL

Cinemavixion Review

This film, titled 'I Miss Holding You - Strawberry Smell', presents a narrative centered around Asli, a young woman facing financial hurdles that threaten her university aspirations. Her mother, Emel, also struggles with unemployment due to health issues, adding to their financial strain. The plot thickens when Emel secures a cooking position in a wealthy household, only for Asli to lose her bakery job after an unfortunate accident involving Burak's car and a ruined birthday cake. Burak, the scion of a privileged family, embodies a life of luxury and avoidance of responsibility, a stark contrast to his diligent cousin Volkan. Fate intervenes when an opportunity in Bodrum brings Asli and Burak together again, hinting at a developing relationship and the start of a longer story. The film features a cast including Demet Ozdemir, Yusuf Cim, Mine Tugay, Murat Basoglu, Ekin Mert Daymaz, and Mahir Gunsiray, suggesting a focus on romantic drama and perhaps elements of social commentary on class differences and personal growth.
