I LOVE YOU

Cinemavixion Review

This independent film, 'I Love You', directed by Lukas Columbo, offers a poignant exploration of familial relationships and the universal theme of homecoming. Drawing inspiration from the timeless parable of the "Prodigal Son" and grounded in "True Events," the narrative centers on a young man who possesses a life of privilege yet fails to appreciate it. The film skillfully poses the age-old question of whether happiness truly lies beyond one's current circumstances. Through its compelling story, 'I Love You' invites viewers to reflect on gratitude, the consequences of choices, and the enduring significance of home. The performances, particularly by Victoria Rowell, James Love, and Sean Boozer, are central to conveying the emotional weight of this relatable journey.
