This documentary plunges viewers into the intense world of ex-military personnel and those who operate in high-stakes environments. Hosted by Danny Dyer, the film offers a raw and unflinching look at the psychological and physical toll of military training and combat, extending into the demanding field of close protection. Dyer engages in candid conversations with a diverse group of individuals, including former special forces soldiers, gangsters, and ex-terrorists, exploring their past actions and their journeys toward a reformed present. The narrative weaves together personal anecdotes from war zones and reflections on historical conflicts like the Belfast Troubles, highlighting the enduring allure of adrenaline and the complexities of reconciling past violence with civilian life. It's a compelling exploration of the human psyche under extreme pressure.
