I EAT YOUR SKIN / ZOMBIE BLOODBATH

Cinemavixion Review

This peculiar exploitation film, often presented as a double feature with 'Zombie Bloodbath,' plunges viewers into a bizarre Caribbean setting. The premise revolves around a misguided cancer researcher who, in a misguided attempt to heal the local populace, administers snake venom. The unintended consequence? The islanders transform into a horde of 'bug-eyed zombies.' While the film's low budget and sensationalist elements are apparent, its unique, albeit strange, narrative offers a cult viewing experience for those intrigued by offbeat horror tropes of the early 1970s. The film's effectiveness lies less in its technical execution and more in its audacious, almost campy, concept.
