I CAN I WILL I DID

Cinemavixion Review

Nadine Truong's "I Can I Will I Did" is a poignant exploration of resilience and the transformative power of human connection. The film thoughtfully navigates the journey of Ben, a young foster youth grappling with profound depression and the aftermath of a traumatic accident. His path to recovery takes an unexpected turn with the introduction of Adrienne, a spirited wheelchair user whose optimism proves infectious. The narrative gains further depth through Adrienne's grandfather, Taekwondo Master Kang, whose tutelage offers Ben not just physical rehabilitation but a renewed sense of self-determination. Bolstered by strong performances, particularly from Ik Jo Kang as Master Kang, and a narrative that balances hardship with hope, this drama, recognized with awards and a solid IMDb rating, is a compelling testament to overcoming adversity and embracing one's potential.
