HUSTLING THE ELITE TO SURVIVE | EXTRACTION, USA

Cinemavixion Review

In the gritty landscape of Extraction, USA, a town defined by economic disparity despite an energy boom, Marni navigates the harsh realities of single motherhood and bartending, her life further complicated by the necessity of bar-hustling to make ends meet. The narrative gains momentum with the arrival of Steph, a charismatic drifter who recognizes Marni's resilience and challenges her not only at the pool table but also for her heart. Their burgeoning romance is set against a backdrop of escalating schemes targeting the town's elite, culminating in the discovery of a dangerous drug operation. Marni and Steph, joined by Jason, devise a high-stakes heist, a desperate gamble for a life-altering payout and a chance to escape Extraction. This film offers a raw portrayal of survival, ambition, and the search for connection in a world that offers little.
