HUSTLE

Cinemavixion Review

Antonio Jefferson's "Hustle" plunges viewers into the gritty underbelly of Baltimore, where two warring drug lords find their empires threatened by an unexpected alliance. The narrative follows two estranged brothers who unite their forces, aiming to seize control of the city's streets in a high-stakes battle for power. Jefferson, who also stars in the film, crafts a tense crime drama that explores themes of loyalty, ambition, and the inevitable consequences of a life steeped in violence. While specific critical reception and awards for this 2020 release are not widely documented, the film's direct approach to its subject matter and its focus on the intricate dynamics of street-level power struggles offer a compelling, albeit grim, cinematic experience.
