Cinemavixion Review

This documentary plunges into the chilling aftermath of a discovery in the woods, dating back to 1999. The narrative unfolds two years after a missing persons case was initiated, only for skeletal remains to surface, hinting at a grim, unsolved mystery. Detectives meticulously examine the scene, focusing on the peculiar knot work found with the remains—a detail that becomes crucial in their pursuit of a killer who remains at large. The investigation's slow burn is punctuated by the stark shock of a separate, senseless murder at a hotel, adding another layer of unease to the unfolding events. The film effectively captures the tension and methodical nature of forensic investigation, drawing viewers into the complexities of piecing together fragmented clues to unmask a perpetrator.
