HOWARD'S MILL

Cinemavixion Review

Shannon Houchins' "Howard's Mill" plunges viewers into the unsettling mystery of a rural Tennessee farm with a chilling history of disappearances. The film expertly weaves a narrative that centers on the disappearance of Emily Nixon and the subsequent suspicion cast upon her husband, Dwight. As the investigation unfolds, the desolate farmland becomes a character in itself, a silent witness to decades of unanswered questions. Josefina Boneo, Mark Cabus, and Jeremy Childs deliver compelling performances, grounding the eerie atmosphere with a palpable sense of unease. While the film leans into its atmospheric dread, it also poses intriguing questions about the nature of truth and the secrets buried in forgotten places. The mystery surrounding the farm and its connection to multiple missing persons cases creates a compelling watch for fans of suspenseful thrillers.
