HOW TO START A SEX CULT

Cinemavixion Review

This documentary plunges into the disturbing world of Lee, a self-proclaimed leader of the Kaotians, a sex cult with a global reach. The film compellingly investigates Lee's ideology, which posits a natural male dominance and female subservience. We witness his manipulation of a married woman in Australia, luring her to Britain with promises of servitude. The documentary masterfully explores the blurred lines between love, abuse, fantasy, and reality, posing critical questions about the nature of control and devotion. While the film's subject matter is dark, its unflinching examination of psychological manipulation and the human capacity for extreme belief systems makes it a thought-provoking and unsettling watch. The narrative skillfully navigates the complexities of the cult's dynamics and the profound impact on its members.
