HOW THE US NAVY BUILT 100 AIRCRAFT CARRIERS IN JUST 3 YEARS

Cinemavixion Review

This documentary compellingly chronicles the monumental achievement of the US Navy in rapidly expanding its aircraft carrier fleet during World War II. Following the devastating attack on Pearl Harbor, the narrative highlights the dire situation of the American Pacific fleet and the urgent need for a robust response against Japan's formidable naval power. It effectively illustrates how American industrial might was mobilized to not only build a staggering 100 advanced Essex-class aircraft carriers in an unprecedented three-year period but also to develop superior aircraft. The film underscores the critical role this surge in naval aviation played in turning the tide of the war, leading to decisive Allied victories and reshaping naval warfare for generations to come.
