HOW THE RICH ARE STEALING THE WORLD'S WATER | EARTH STORIES

Cinemavixion Review

"Earth Stories" presents a stark and urgent examination of global water scarcity in "How The Rich Are Stealing The World's Water." The documentary effectively uses the personal plight of Vanessa, an 8-year-old girl in Bolivia, to illustrate the broader, systemic issues of water commodification. Her daily struggle to access a reliable water source, despite living in close proximity to abundant resources, serves as a powerful microcosm of a global crisis. The film compellingly argues that the increasing privatization and commodification of water are leading to a future where this fundamental necessity becomes a luxury, exacerbating inequalities and leaving vulnerable populations like Vanessa's family in dire straits. It is a vital watch for anyone concerned about environmental justice and the future sustainability of our planet's most precious resource.
