HOW SOVIET SPIES STOLE THE SECRETS BEHIND THE ATOMIC BOMB | COLD WAR TECH RACE | SPARK

Cinemavixion Review

This documentary delves into the intense technological rivalry between the USA and the Soviet Union during the Cold War, a period where innovation in space and aviation became paramount. It highlights how the development of rocketry, nuclear weapons, and computing were inextricably linked, paving the way for the information age. The narrative explores the critical role of espionage in this arms race, specifically focusing on how Soviet spies allegedly obtained the secrets behind the atomic bomb. While the film touches upon the broader context of the space and aviation race, its core investigation into the clandestine acquisition of nuclear technology offers a compelling look at the lengths nations would go to achieve technological and military superiority.
