HOW FIDEL CASTRO CHANGED THE WORLD

Cinemavixion Review

Bay Weyman's 2010 documentary, "How Fidel Castro Changed the World," offers a compelling glimpse into a pivotal moment in 20th-century history. The film centers on a war cameraman's journey to Cuba's Sierra Maestra mountains in 1958, where he met a then-obscure rebel leader named Fidel Castro. The narrative powerfully illustrates the dramatic shift that occurred just a month later when Castro's forces entered Havana, fundamentally altering the global landscape. While the film's description is concise, it effectively sets the stage for a significant historical account, hinting at the profound impact of Castro's rise to power.
