HOW BRITAIN ‘HACKED’ NAZI BOMBING DURING THE BLITZ

Cinemavixion Review

This compelling documentary delves into the ingenious, yet often overlooked, scientific countermeasures employed by Britain during the darkest days of the Blitz. It masterfully recounts the story of how British boffins, under the guidance of R.V. Jones, deciphered the complex German radio navigation systems, such as Knickebein and X-Gerät. By understanding and subsequently disrupting these 'Battle of the Beams,' the RAF Pathfinders played a pivotal role in mitigating the devastating impact of Nazi bombing raids on British cities. The narrative highlights the crucial technological arms race that unfolded in the skies, showcasing how scientific innovation and strategic adaptation proved instrumental in turning the tide of the war, ultimately enabling Allied bombers to strike German targets with unprecedented precision. A fascinating look at the unsung heroes of wartime intelligence and technology.
