HOW BAREKNUCKLE STREET FIGHTS TURNED TO BRUTAL FAMILY WARFARE | BRITISH GANGSTERS | ABSOLUTE CRIME

Cinemavixion Review

This documentary delves into the fading world of British street gangs, exploring how traditions of bareknuckle fighting have evolved into complex family warfare. Through compelling interviews with figures like Dougie Joyce, Johnny Joyce, Dutch Raja, and Allan Morrison, the film examines the generational shifts within organized groups, from motorcycle clubs to Irish traveller communities. It offers a poignant look at the erosion of these subcultures, suggesting that the roots of such traditions are becoming increasingly distant with each passing generation. The narrative thoughtfully questions the legacy and future of these once-prominent social structures, providing a unique perspective on the changing landscape of British organized crime and its historical underpinnings.
