HOW ANCIENT FARMING BUILT THE FIRST EMPIRES

Cinemavixion Review

This documentary compellingly argues for the foundational role of agriculture in the development of human civilization. By drawing parallels between ancient practices, such as the Nile's irrigation systems that supported Egyptian society, and futuristic endeavors like terraforming Mars, the film posits that agriculture is not merely about sustenance but the very bedrock of culture. It suggests that without the surplus and stability provided by farming, the complex societies, arts, and sciences that define empires and cultures would simply not exist. A thought-provoking exploration of our agrarian roots and their enduring impact on human progress.
