HONG KONG: LIFE IN CAGES

Cinemavixion Review

This documentary plunges into the stark realities of Hong Kong, a city synonymous with affluence yet harboring a hidden crisis. It starkly illustrates the profound economic disparity, revealing how the relentless pursuit of space has relegated a significant portion of the population to living in cages. The film is a powerful, albeit grim, exposé of the human cost of unchecked urbanization and extreme wealth concentration. It forces viewers to confront uncomfortable truths about societal structures and the basic human need for dignity and adequate living conditions, presented through unflinching observation.
