HONESTY WEEKEND

Cinemavixion Review

"Honesty Weekend" presents an intriguing premise for a comedy, exploring the often-hilarious and sometimes disastrous consequences of absolute truth within a relationship. Directed by Leslie Thomas, the film follows a couple who, on the advice of their therapist, commit to a weekend of unvarnished honesty. This pact is put to the ultimate test when they join close friends for a getaway, promising a blend of awkward revelations and chaotic situations. While the external data suggests a 2020 release and a runtime of 90 minutes, the core of the narrative promises a relatable, albeit exaggerated, look at the complexities of modern relationships and the challenges of maintaining transparency. The film invites audiences to ponder the delicate balance between honesty and tact, wrapped in a comedic package that promises both laughter and introspection.
