HOLLYWOOD FLIES

Cinemavixion Review

Fabio Segatori's 'Hollywood Flies' presents a gritty narrative journey from the neon glow of Las Vegas to the deceptive allure of Hollywood. The film plunges into a dark underbelly as brothers Martina and Luca find their path irrevocably altered by a chance encounter with two convicts and the enigmatic showgirl Cherie. What begins as a road trip quickly devolves into a tense struggle for survival when one brother is kidnapped, forcing the other into a perilous game involving a substantial sum of money. While the cast listed in external databases may differ from promotional materials, the core story remains compelling. The film's strength lies in its exploration of desperation and the unexpected turns that life can take when one is caught between lawless elements. Segatori crafts a suspenseful atmosphere, drawing viewers into the characters' desperate predicament and the high stakes they face. 'Hollywood Flies' is a compelling, albeit bleak, look at the darker side of the American dream.
