HOLLYWEIRD

Cinemavixion Review

Dustin Ferguson's "Hollyweird" (2020) is a fascinating, if at times unsettling, dive into the underbelly of the entertainment industry. Hosted by the enigmatic Dark Infinity, this cult documentary eschews the glamour of the red carpet for a more surreal and eccentric exploration of fame's fringes. The film takes viewers to the unconventional California Institute of Abnormal Arts, offers an interview with adult film star Alana Evans, delves into the enduring legacy of breakdance icon The Egyptian Lover, and features a memorable encounter with underground legend The Goddess Bunny. While the IMDb rating suggests a niche appeal, "Hollyweird" offers a unique, offbeat perspective on a world often shrouded in illusion, making it a compelling watch for those interested in the weirder side of Hollywood lore.
