HOLEY MATRIMONY

Cinemavixion Review

In "Holey Matrimony," director Diana Lenska crafts a delightful throwback to the screwball comedies of the 1930s and 40s, set against the backdrop of 1948 Hollywood. The film centers on Laura Chandler, a sharp-witted screenplay writer who returns to her Wilmington, NC roots with a plan for subtle revenge against a former lover. However, her meticulously laid schemes unravel, inadvertently exposing a trove of hidden secrets and surprising revelations among those involved. While the external data lists Lynne Smith and Diana Lenska herself in the cast alongside Amber Dawn Fox, the local data highlights Matt Mitchell and Rochelle Aycoth. Regardless of the specific ensemble, the narrative promises a fun-filled journey packed with witty dialogue and unexpected twists, making it a charming tribute to a beloved cinematic era.
