HIM

Cinemavixion Review

In 'Him,' directors Latavious Flournoy, Cassiphias Guerrero, and Carlos Menzies craft a tense narrative exploring the dark side of obsession. The film delves into the aftermath of a failed relationship, where Winter believes she has escaped Mitchell's unwanted advances, only to find him unwilling to let go. The premise sets the stage for a psychological thriller that probes the boundaries of love and control. Marcus Allen and Chelsea Chapa deliver compelling performances, portraying the escalating tension and emotional turmoil at the heart of their characters' destructive dynamic. While the film's runtime is concise, it effectively builds a palpable sense of dread, making it a noteworthy exploration of a relationship spiraling into obsession.
