HIGH TIMES | CANADIAN STRAIN

Cinemavixion Review

This Canadian comedy, 'High Times | Canadian Strain,' offers a humorous perspective on the seismic shift within the cannabis industry following legalization. The narrative centers on a boutique dealer whose livelihood is abruptly disrupted by changing market dynamics. Fans of the genre, particularly those who appreciated the comedic tone of 'Pineapple Express,' will likely find resonance in this film's exploration of the challenges faced by small-time entrepreneurs navigating a newly regulated landscape. The performances, notably by Jess Salguerio and Natalie Brown, bring a relatable charm to the characters' predicaments. While the film's year and director are not specified, its core premise delivers a timely and amusing commentary on adaptation and the enduring spirit of enterprise in the face of evolving societal norms.
