Cinemavixion Review

HIGH FREQUENCY offers a glimpse into the bustling world of an urban radio station, capturing the essence of a single, eventful day. The film delves into the lives of its characters, showcasing the dynamics and pressures inherent in the fast-paced environment of broadcasting. With a focus on the interwoven narratives of those behind the microphones, the film presents a compelling portrait of community and the power of media. The performances, particularly from John Witherspoon and Marcus Chong, anchor the story, bringing authenticity to their roles. A.J. Johnson also contributes to the vibrant ensemble. While the premise is straightforward, the execution highlights the human element within the machinery of a radio station, making it an engaging watch for those interested in the behind-the-scenes workings of popular culture.
