HIDE AND BLEED

Cinemavixion Review

"Hide and Bleed" plunges viewers into a stylish, neon-drenched descent into paranoia and violence. The narrative follows cycling champion Rick Van Pelt, whose life unravels into a fever dream following a traumatic night. Fueled by scotch and suspicion, Rick confronts betrayal and uncovers a sinister plot, navigating a nocturnal underworld populated by eccentric characters and his own inner demons. The film, directed by Brent Scott Maze and Derek Maze, features a compelling cast including Balthazar Getty, Clint Howard, and Nicole LaLiberte, who bring a raw intensity to their roles. While the film garnered 4 wins and 2 nominations, its gritty exploration of ambition, consequence, and survival within the crime, drama, and thriller genres offers a potent, albeit dark, cinematic experience that lingers long after the credits roll.
