HENRI

Cinemavixion Review

Octavian O.'s "HENRI" presents a compelling narrative of a spiritual warrior thrust into a world of violence. Raised in a Far Eastern monastery, Henri (portrayed by Eli Jeffree Zen) seeks a life of peace, but his tranquility is shattered when the sons of a local drug dealer, played with menacing flair by Eric Roberts, terrorize a rural town. With the police, including Robert La Sardo, seemingly powerless, Henri finds himself compelled to intervene. The film blends spiritual themes with martial arts action, exploring the conflict between inner peace and the necessity of standing against injustice. While the plot summary suggests a straightforward actioner, the presence of Roberts and La Sardo hints at potential depth in the portrayal of law and lawlessness. "HENRI" appears to be a modest production aiming to deliver both thrilling sequences and a character study of a man caught between two worlds.
