HELL GIRL

Cinemavixion Review

Lawrence David Riggins' 2019 horror offering, "Hell Girl," plunges viewers into a supernatural saga spanning centuries. The film posits a chilling premise: a demonic entity from another realm impregnates a mortal woman, setting in motion a curse that resurfaces 160 years later. The narrative centers on a team of ghost hunters whose casual, profit-driven approach to their work is shattered when they uncover a terrifying truth: one of their own is the offspring of the very entity plaguing their investigation. This revelation forces an uneasy alliance between the protagonists, the ghost of the mother, and the cursed offspring, as they band together to confront the ancient evil and restore balance. While the film's IMDb rating suggests a divisive reception, its ambitious storyline and supernatural themes offer a compelling, albeit grim, exploration of inherited darkness and the fight for survival against otherworldly forces. Featuring performances from Tom Sizemore, Tara Westwood, and Kherington Payne, "Hell Girl" aims to deliver a unique take on demonic possession and familial curses within the horror genre.
