Jax Medel's 'He Saw Something He Shouldn’t Have' presents a taut thriller centered on a summer of burgeoning teenage romance and escalating dread. Seventeen-year-old Colton finds himself captivated by Heather, the new girl next door. His infatuation, however, takes a dark turn as he observes her foster father's increasingly menacing behavior. Suspicions of a Satanic cult and a planned ritualistic murder propel Colton to take drastic action. The film masterfully builds suspense, leading to a revelation that is far more disturbing than Colton's worst fears, exploring themes of obsession, fear, and the terrifying truths that lie beneath the surface of ordinary life.
