HAUNTED TRAIL

Cinemavixion Review

Robin Givens' "Haunted Trail" (2021) plunges viewers into a familiar yet terrifying scenario: a group of college friends seeking thrills at a local haunted trail find themselves in a fight for survival when a real killer emerges. The film, starring Marquise C. Brown, Desi Banks, and Reggie Couz, cleverly twists the haunted attraction trope into a genuine slasher narrative. As the friends desperately navigate the treacherous path, the initial screams of manufactured fright give way to the chilling reality of imminent danger. The plot escalates with a significant body count, culminating in a horrific revelation about the killer's identity that recontextualizes the entire ordeal. While the film's IMDb rating of 4.3 suggests a mixed reception, its premise offers a compelling blend of horror and suspense, making it a noteworthy entry for fans of the genre looking for a straightforward, high-stakes thriller.
