HATE YOUR NEIGHBOUR

Cinemavixion Review

Ferdinando Baldi's "Hate Your Neighbour" plunges viewers into a gritty, sun-drenched world of avarice and retribution. The narrative centers on Ken's quest for vengeance against the ruthless Stevens, a gunman whose actions—stemming from a dispute over a goldmine map—led to the death of Ken's brother, Bill. The ensuing conflict escalates into a dangerous game of cat and mouse, involving the formidable gangster Malone, portrayed with chilling intensity by Horst Frank. Spyros Fokas and George Eastman deliver performances that embody the desperate struggle for survival and the corrosive effects of greed. The film masterfully builds suspense, exploring themes of justice, betrayal, and the thin line between hunter and hunted in a lawless landscape. "Hate Your Neighbour" is a compelling exploration of the darker aspects of human nature, driven by strong performances and Baldi's assured direction.
