HARM'S WAY

Cinemavixion Review

Harm's Way plunges viewers into a chilling narrative centered on Darlene and her daughter Victoria, who find sanctuary in a secluded rural safe house. Initially appearing as a haven managed by the seemingly supportive Bea, the atmosphere soon sours, revealing a darker, more sinister reality. Bea's true nature—that of a manipulative lunatic—emerges, wielding a disturbing influence over the impressionable Victoria. The film masterfully explores themes of vulnerability, psychological manipulation, and the deceptive appearances that can mask profound danger. Kathleen Quinlan's performance anchors the descent into unease, portraying a complex character whose protective facade crumbles to reveal a terrifying core. This unsettling thriller serves as a stark reminder of the hidden perils that can lurk beneath the surface of apparent safety, making for a compelling, albeit disturbing, cinematic experience.
