HANGING ON TO LOVE

Cinemavixion Review

In "Hanging on to Love," director Crystal Ellis crafts a charming narrative around Jewel, a serial dater whose romantic pursuits consistently fall short. The film adeptly captures the universal struggle of finding meaningful connection in a modern world, as Jewel navigates the complexities of dating while simultaneously trying to build her clothing design business. The plot takes an unexpected turn when a connection sparks with the owner of her local dry cleaners, offering a fresh perspective on where love might be found. The film’s strength lies in its relatable portrayal of vulnerability and the hopeful pursuit of happiness, making it a warm and engaging watch for anyone who has ever felt the pangs of romantic uncertainty.
