Cinemavixion Review

Guy Martin's foray into the world of World War I engineering is a compelling exploration of mechanical ingenuity and historical significance. This documentary masterfully chronicles the birth of the tank, a revolutionary force that reshaped the brutal landscape of the Great War. Martin's hands-on approach, evident in his ambitious attempt to construct a working replica and pass his tank driving test, adds a unique and engaging dimension. The film not only educates viewers on the technical challenges and operational impact of these early behemoths but also connects them to the human endeavor behind their creation. It’s a fascinating blend of historical analysis and practical application, culminating in a poignant drive at Lincoln's Remembrance Day parade, offering a powerful tribute to the past.
