GUNS FOR DOLLARS - THEY CALL ME ALLELUJA!

Cinemavixion Review

In the sun-drenched, tumultuous landscape of Maximilian-era Mexico, "Guns for Dollars - They Call Me Alleluja!" unfolds as a classic Spaghetti Western. Directed by Giuliano Carnimeo, the film centers on the charismatic gunman Alleluja, portrayed with rugged charm by George Hilton. Tasked by the revolutionary general Ramirez to secure a bag of coveted jewels, Alleluja harbors a more selfish motive: to claim the treasure for himself. However, his solitary pursuit is complicated by the presence of another, unseen contender for the riches. The narrative cleverly weaves a tale of double-crosses and shifting allegiances, characteristic of the genre, while Hilton's performance anchors the story with a compelling blend of roguish wit and deadly efficiency. Agata Flori and Charles Southwood provide solid support, navigating the treacherous paths of loyalty and greed. This film is a satisfying entry for fans of dusty trails and high-stakes showdowns.
