GUNFIGHTERS MOON

Cinemavixion Review

Larry Ferguson's "Gunfighters Moon" presents a compelling narrative of a notorious gunfighter, Frank Morgan, forced to confront his past when summoned by an old flame, Linda. Lance Henriksen delivers a powerful performance, embodying the hardened exterior of a man accustomed to a life on the run, yet hinting at the lingering passion beneath. The plot thickens with the revelation of a daughter, whose existence and true parentage remain a secret. Linda's true motive for summoning Frank becomes clear: she needs his protection for her current husband, the new sheriff, who is targeted by gunmen seeking to free a condemned prisoner. As Frank grapples with the unreachability of Linda and his daughter, he faces a profound choice: aid the man who now holds the woman he loves, or ride off into the sunset, leaving them to their fate. The film explores themes of redemption, sacrifice, and the enduring consequences of a life lived by the gun.
