GUARDIANS OF THE NEW WORLD

Cinemavixion Review

"Guardians Of The New World" offers a compelling dive into the complex and often misunderstood world of hacker culture. Emerging from the counterculture movements of the 1970s, the film traces the evolution of hacking from its roots in personal freedom and decentralization to its prominent role in the digital age. Director Flo Laval skillfully navigates the dual nature of hackers, portraying them as both potential threats to security and as modern-day saviors, depending on one's perspective. The documentary's exploration of privacy and information sharing in the internet era is particularly timely, prompting viewers to reconsider their own digital footprints and the security of online spaces. With its insightful narrative and exploration of a subculture that profoundly shapes our modern world, this film is a must-watch for anyone interested in technology, freedom, and the future of the internet.
