GUARD THE PASS OF HAN

Cinemavixion Review

The film "Guard The Pass of HAN" presents a compelling narrative set against the backdrop of the tumultuous late Eastern Han Dynasty. The story centers on Liu Qi, a descendant of noble lineage, who seeks refuge and establishes the Pass of Han as a sanctuary from the chaotic world. This dilapidated pass becomes a haven, maintaining a fragile equilibrium among various factions drawn to its promise of safety. The delicate balance is disrupted by the arrival of General Geng Zhong, who seeks reinforcements, threatening to unravel the peace Liu Qi has painstakingly created. The film explores themes of refuge, order, and the inevitable intrusion of conflict into even the most isolated havens. The performances, particularly from Liu Geng Hong, MARCO 陈松龄, and Liu Chu Xuan, anchor the film's dramatic tension as they navigate the complexities of loyalty and survival in a dying dynasty.
