GROUPPIE

Cinemavixion Review

"GROUPPIE" plunges viewers into the shadowy world of "The Dark Knights", a band whose legendary status is overshadowed by a curse. The arrival of a mysterious groupie ignites a terrifying chain of events, transforming their much-anticipated comeback tour into a desperate fight for survival. Director Mark Lester crafts a suspenseful narrative where the line between rock and roll excess and supernatural dread blurs. Taryn Manning, Hal Ozsan, Eric Roberts, and Betsy Rue deliver compelling performances, navigating the escalating chaos with palpable tension. The film expertly builds an atmosphere of unease, exploring themes of fame, consequence, and the darkness that can lurk beneath the surface of artistic ambition. It's a compelling, genre-bending ride that will keep audiences guessing until the very end.
