GRIEVE

Cinemavixion Review

Robbie Smith's 'Grieve' plunges into the suffocating aftermath of loss, following Sam as he seeks solace in his mother's secluded forest home. However, this retreat offers no escape from his internal turmoil, nor from the ancient, encroaching presence lurking within the woods. The film masterfully blends personal grief with a primal, supernatural dread, creating an atmosphere that is both intimate and terrifying. While details on awards and critical reception are scarce, the compelling narrative and the chilling premise, bolstered by performances from Danielle Keaton and others, suggest a potent exploration of sorrow and the unseen forces that can prey upon a vulnerable psyche.
