GRADUATE OR DIE TRYING | DEATH PH.D

Cinemavixion Review

"Death Ph.D." plunges viewers into the high-stakes world of academia, twisted by a supernatural dare. The premise is immediately compelling: a group of doctoral candidates, facing the arduous final year of their program, are offered a shortcut to graduation – a single night in a reputedly haunted house. This intriguing setup explores the desperation that can drive individuals to extreme measures when faced with immense pressure. As the students enter the ominous mansion, the narrative shifts into a suspenseful exploration of fear and the unknown. The film effectively builds tension, questioning whether the house's dark legends are mere folklore or a genuine, terrifying reality. The students' journey becomes a crucible, forcing them to confront not only external horrors but also their own inner demons and the true cost of their ambition. It's a chilling examination of perseverance and the sacrifices one might make for success.
