GOING NOWHERE

Cinemavixion Review

Isabel Shill's directorial debut, 'Going Nowhere' (2022), plunges audiences into the chaotic world of independent filmmaking. With a runtime of 88 minutes, this comedy, penned by Felipe Dieppa, Diana Irvine, and Drigan Lee, humorously explores the escalating tensions on set. The plot, centered around Izzy's directorial endeavor, showcases how incompetence, paranoia, and personal frustrations can push a film crew to the brink of mutiny. The ensemble cast, featuring Isabel Shill, Diana Irvine, and Felipe Dieppa, navigates these interpersonal dynamics with a comedic touch, questioning whether the project will ever reach completion or if the crew is destined to be 'Going Nowhere'. While the film may not boast critical accolades or extensive ratings, its relatable portrayal of the filmmaking struggle offers a unique and entertaining perspective.
