GOERING: THE RISE AND FALL OF HITLER’S SECOND-IN-COMMAND

Cinemavixion Review

This documentary offers a compelling, albeit grim, exploration of Hermann Göring, a pivotal and deeply disturbing figure in the Nazi regime. Through unearthed secret footage, the film meticulously traces his trajectory from a decorated WWI pilot to Hitler's influential second-in-command. It unflinchingly details his central role in the Nazi apparatus, shedding light on the mechanisms of power and control within the Third Reich. The narrative progresses to his inevitable downfall, culminating in his capture by Allied forces and his final moments during the Nuremberg trials. While the film provides a thorough examination of Göring's life and complicity, it serves as a stark reminder of the historical atrocities and the individuals who orchestrated them. The extensive footage offers a unique, personal perspective that amplifies the historical weight of the events depicted.
