GO / DON'T GO

Cinemavixion Review

"Go / Don't Go" presents a hauntingly intimate portrait of solitude in a post-apocalyptic world. Alex Knapp, who also directs, masterfully embodies Adam, the last man on Earth, charting his descent into uncertainty with a performance that is both understated and deeply affecting. The film skillfully weaves together Adam's mundane routines with fragmented memories of love and connection, blurring the lines between reality and delusion. Knapp uses the vast emptiness of the landscape to mirror Adam's internal isolation, creating a palpable sense of unease. While the narrative toys with paranoia and the fragility of the human psyche, it remains grounded in Adam's personal struggle. The film's strength lies in its quiet intensity and its exploration of what it means to be human when all that remains is memory and the echo of what was lost.
