GLOBAL DARKNESS | BLACKOUT

Cinemavixion Review

Global Darkness, also known as Blackout, plunges viewers into a chilling apocalyptic scenario following a massive solar flare. What begins as a communal celebration of a planet-wide blackout quickly devolves into a desperate fight for survival. The narrative skillfully crafts an atmosphere of escalating dread as a mysterious beast emerges, turning the ensuing darkness into a hunting ground. The film excels in building suspense, leaving audiences on the edge of their seats as Summer, Dylan, Alice, and Matt navigate a world where familiar comforts have become deadly traps. For fans of creature features and survival horror, Blackout offers a tense and terrifying experience, reminiscent of the high-stakes tension found in films like 'A Quiet Place'.
