GLI ALTRI RACCONTI DI CANTERBURY

Cinemavixion Review

"Gli altri racconti di Canterbury" (1972), directed by Mino Guerrini, is an Italian erotic comedy that delves into the bawdy misadventures of pilgrims en route to Canterbury. The film, starring Enza Sbordone, Antonio De Leo, and Francesco D'Adda, promises a journey filled with humor and suggestive encounters, painting a vivid picture of medieval travel with a focus on the carnal and comical aspects of human nature. While perhaps not a mainstream critical darling, its faithful adherence to the spirit of its source material and its unique blend of historical setting and risqué humor offer a distinct cinematic experience for those seeking a lighter, more provocative take on classic storytelling.
