Cinemavixion Review

This poignant drama, "Girlfriend's jealousy kills love," delves into the complex dynamics of female friendship and romantic rivalry. Set in a district center, the narrative follows Galka and Sveta as they navigate new beginnings and the treacherous waters of love. Galka, radiant and captivating, quickly becomes the object of affection for both the rugged bulldozer driver Pyotr and the recently returned Mishka. However, her friend Sveta, consumed by envy and her own unspoken feelings for Mishka, struggles to contain her resentment. The film masterfully explores themes of jealousy, ambition, and the destructive power of unspoken desires. The performances, particularly in conveying the internal turmoil of the characters, are central to the film's emotional impact, offering a compelling look at how envy can poison even the deepest bonds.
