GINGER IN THE MORNING

Cinemavixion Review

Gordon Wiles' "Ginger in the Morning" offers a charming glimpse into the early seventies with its tale of a free-spirited hitchhiker and a lonely advertising executive. Sissy Spacek shines in the titular role, embodying a youthful exuberance that contrasts with the more structured life of the man she encounters. The film, also featuring notable performances from Monte Markham and Susan Oliver, captures a distinct era, evoking a sense of nostalgia for a time when chance encounters on the road were more commonplace. While the external data indicates a runtime of 90 minutes and a plot focusing on the romantic undertones of their relationship, the core narrative remains consistent with the provided description. It's a lighthearted charmer that explores themes of independence and connection, making for a pleasant viewing experience.
