GHOST TOWNS OF THE SIERRA

Cinemavixion Review

Rip Torn narrates this evocative documentary, delving into the spectral remnants of the Old West's forgotten settlements. Filmed in vibrant color during the late 1940s and seeing limited release in 1951, the series reimagines its presentation with Torn stepping into the role of a spectral prospector. Through his eyes, viewers are treated to an intimate journey through the dusty streets and silent saloons of America's ghost towns, offering a unique glimpse into a bygone era of ambition and abandonment.
