GHANA INTO THE JUNGLE

Cinemavixion Review

Leah Gillis's "Ghana Into The Jungle" is a brisk, thirty-minute sojourn that masterfully captures the vibrant spirit of Ghana. Despite its brevity, the documentary doesn't shy away from revealing the country's lesser-known treasures. Gillis, who also appears on screen alongside Owen Meyer, guides viewers through bustling markets teeming with life and serene natural landscapes that offer a peaceful counterpoint. The film excels in its portrayal of Ghana's rich cultural tapestry, providing an engaging and informative glimpse into the hidden gems of this West African nation. It's a delightful invitation to explore beyond the familiar, showcasing the island's unique charm and beauty with warmth and authenticity.
